Different, Better.

Keepwell Medical is a new way of doing primary care. We limit our client/provider ratio to guarantee a more personal level of care. For comparison, our ratios are 1/10th that of a “normal” primary care. As a result you will receive unprecedented care and attention. With direct primary care you can expect honest, quick communication and dedicated time with your health care provider.

Offering adult primary care, basic urgent care, sick and wellness visits.

Natalie Caylor

PA-C, MPAS, BFA, board-certified health-care provider and the founder of Keepwell Medical. After graduating and beginning practice, Natalie experienced first-hand the brokenness of healthcare in the United States. She found that her desire to properly take care of people was continually challenged by the roadblocks inherent to the healthcare system. Ultimately, she found that insurance companies do not have the patients well-being as their highest priority and she has searched for a way to provide care that does.

Natalie has a passion to care for her patients with a higher standard than is often found in traditional fee-for-service settings, and Keepwell Medical makes that possible. With an emphasis on caring for the whole person, she promotes preventative medicine and is vested in the overall wellness of her patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Keepwell Medical?
Keepwell Medical provides adult primary care services, urgent and sick care, and sick care visits for children. These services are provided through a low-cost monthly fee based on the direct pay primary care model. This model enables increased accessibility, higher quality, and lower cost than traditional primary care.
What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a new model of providing and paying for primary care. The signature of DPC is allowing the medical provider the time they need to properly care for the patient, and allowing the patient to build a lasting relationship with a provider they both know and trust. When doctors rely on payment from insurance companies to keep the lights on, they incur significant expenses. They have to hire people just to do the billing and coding (sometimes a whole team of people) and are required to do what the insurance companies tell them to, or risk not getting paid. This sometimes results in non-medical, for-profit companies (insurance companies) making decisions about people's health! In addition, the percentages of what an insurance company will pay are falling, and the theoretical "cost" of medical services is being driven higher and higher. Doctors are having to see more and more patients in less time to cover their costs of operating. The emphasis of DPC is to eliminate the traditional fee-for-service system, a system that has rewarded offices, doctors, and insurance companies when patients are sick as opposed to well, resulting in hurried, rapid office visits and unnecessary and costly procedures, labs, imaging and repeat visits. DPC offers primary care with one low, set monthly fee. Direct pay. We want to get and keep you well!
What can you do for Small Businesses and their employees?
At Keepwell we LOVE small businesses! We know that small business owners value their employees. We offer an affordable solution to the problem of high-cost health insurance, a special package designed especially to provide the benefit of primary care. By participating in this plan the small business owner can enjoy better retention of employees, providing them with affordable primary care and access to low cost labs, medications, and imaging. The employer may pay all or some of the low monthly fee, which can be deducted from paychecks. We have several major medical, (catastrophic) plans we recommend to all our patients as an adjunct to Keepwell to cover you in case of emergency or specialist referral. Contact us for more information on the plans we recommend.
What if I’m never sick? Will Keepwell do me any good?
Keepwell is invested in your health. Sick or not, wellness and illness prevention is our top priority. Nutrition, mental health, and strength are things we love to work on and encourage while building a lasting relationship and knowledge of your health. And when the flu hits or stitches are required? We’re a text message away, right there, to get you through it.
Do I still need insurance?
We highly recommend that our patients carry a major medical (catastrophic) plan and/or a health savings account, in case referral to a specialist or hospitalization is needed. Contact us for information on the plans we recommend.
I have tenncare or medicare, can I still be a part of Keepwell?
Unfortunately not at this time. Tenncare and Medicare require special business relationships that Keepwell is not designed to support. Contact your local Tenncare or Medicare representative for suggestions of providers in your area that do.
Do you treat chronic pain, anxiety, or mental disorders?
We do not offer chronic pain treatment of any kind, nor do we participate in any routine prescriptions for controlled substances (ambien, hydrocodone, xanax, tramadol, soma, gabapentin, etc.). We hold that chronic pain and mental illnesses are legitimate and serious health conditions and as such we feel are best treated by specialists certified to manage patients in these fields. Routine mental health care with non-controlled medications will be managed on a case-by-case basis, with an emphasis on supporting natural and holistic healthcare methods.
Does Keepwell take insurance?
No. Keepwell Medical is a model of healthcare that functions specifically to offer lower cost, higher quality care by avoiding the middleman (and associated costs) of insurance. See the section above on Direct Primary Care for more information.
What if i need a referral or need to go to the hospital?
First, by paying closer attention to our patients we hope to reduce/prevent the instances of this being needed. However, there are times when it will be, and in that case we will liaison with specialists closely and help to coordinate your care. We highly recommend that our patients carry a major medical (catastrophic) insurance plan and/or health savings plan to cover this possibility. Contact us for information on the plans we recommend.
What hours is my provider available?
Office hours are currently available Monday through Thursday from 9am-4pm and Fridays from 9am-12pm for appointments and are scheduled as needed. We are also available for consultation via text, facetime, phone, and email throughout all office hours.

After-hours and on weekends patients may email/text their questions and concerns and further care will be managed according to provider availability and medical need. After-hours and weekend care is not routinely available. There will be times during weekends and after-hours when it may be necessary to acquire care at an ER or urgent care.
